Silvie Paladino has established herself as one of Australia’s most versatile and talented entertainers performing throughout Australia, Asia and London’s West End.
Her performances include the roles of Eponine and Fantine in LES MISERABLES, Grizabella in CATS, Ellen in MISS SAIGON, Jeannie in HAIR, Donna in MAMMA MIA! and the role of Rita in the world premiere of SIDESHOW ALLEY - for which she was nominated for a Helpmann Award. In 2001, Silvie toured with her one-woman show Silvie Paladino Sings Streisand for which she received rave reviews, and was nominated for a Green Room Award. Silvie has released a live CD of this performance. Silvie’s concert performances include lead artist with The Melbourne Symphony, The Sydney Symphony, The West Australian Symphony, The Australian Philharmonic Orchestra, The State Orchestra of Victoria and the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. Silvie has also toured Australia, performing as guest artist with Patrizio Buanne. Apart from her theatrical credits, she is well known to Australian audiences through her TV appearances including regular performances on CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Silvie has also featured at many sporting events such as the Rugby League Grand Final in Sydney, the V8 Supercar Championships at Phillip Island , the Australian Football League Grand Final and the MCG Boxing Day Test. In December 2007, Silvie released a compliation album: Silvie Paladino - Christmas List. |
