 | Melissa is renowned for devising and performing her own cabaret shows including Can You Hear Me Up The Back?, I Got The Music In Me and What's New Pussycat? Her shows Me and Mr Jones and What Do You Think Of Me So Far? were both presented in New York and Dublin. Me and Mr Jones has also featured at The Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Sydney Cabaret Convention, the Auckland Festival, and The Famous Spiegeltent at the Melbourne Festival. In 2005, Melissa returned to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival with A Walk on the Wild Side. Her theatre credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, The Pirates Of Penzance, The Mikado, HMS Pinafore, Les Miserables, Carousel, Marry Me A Little, Crusade, After The Beep, Sideshow Alley, Brigadoon, Eurobeat, Killer Queen in We Will Rock You (in Japan), 42nd Street, Follies, Damn Yankees, Crazy for You, Sugar and Victorian Opera’s The Threepenny Opera. In 2002, she received Green Room Awards for Best Cabaret Artist and Best Cabaret Duo (with Mark Jones). She was also the winner of The 2001 Sydney Cabaret Convention. Melissa is also a member of the popular girl group The Fabulous Singlettes, and performs with the group regularly throughout Australia, Asia and Europe. Melissa’s 2011 appearances include the Victorian Opera’s How to Kill Your Husband, a new cabaret Get Back The Lennon and McCartney Songbook and the new musical, Strange Bedfellows .
