![]() | Chelsea - Cabaret and Musical Theatre performer, comedienne, writer, and musician. Chelsea has appeared in concert and cabaret in America, the UK, India, Australia and Asia. She toured Australia with her acclaimed shows Gorgeous, Live & Luscious (GLUG Award for Most Versatile Performance) and Chelsea Plumley in Concert. She made her New York debut in Angel in Training at Don't Tell Mama and her London West End debut in Live & Luscious at Too2Much. Her first solo album, Live & Luscious, was released in 2004. Whilst living in the UK, Chelsea appeared in the short film Angel and starred as Red in the musical production Everything’s F**ked. She travelled internationally with corporate opera/musical theatre act Incognito Artists and was invited to produce and perform at the Australia Day Showcase for the Australia Day Foundation. She regularly hosted and performed cabaret evenings at the Cellardoor on The Strand, Soho Revue Bar and The Lost Society and was the West End correspondent for the radio program Broadway at Bedtime - Joy Melbourne 94.9FM. A talented musician, Chelsea made her debut as Musical Director for the Victorian College of the Arts musical production of The Boy from Oz. Her leading roles in musical theatre have included Rizzo in Grease, Betty in Sunset Boulevard (Green Room Award Nomination), Amy in Company, Jolene Oakes in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for The Production Company, the roles of Vivien in Life’s A Circus and Lyn in Breast Wishes – both Australian Premieres. She has performed in one-off concerts with Broadway and cabaret composer John Bucchino and Australian composer Matthew Robinson, and hosted Sing-A-Long Sound of Music in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Chelsea is also seen on national television as Queen of the Fairies in Magical Tales on the Nine Network.
