![]() | Anne’s career began with the original Melbourne cast of Cats and continued with the first national tour before joining the German company.
She spent six successful years working in London and Germany with A Swell Party marking Anne’s London West End debut. Other U.K. and European credits include leading roles in Aspects of Love, Barnum, Crazy For You, Romance Romance, Into The Woods and Closer than Ever.
Upon returning to Australia, Anne appeared in Jacques Brel Is Alive & Well & Living in Paris, as Irene in Crazy for You and Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music – both performances earning her Green Room nominations.
Anne spent nearly three years playing the lead role of Donna in the Australian premiere of Mamma Mia! earning a Green Room Award and an invitation to play the role on London’s West End. Since then she has appeared in Closer than Ever at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, in concert with Australia’s Leading Ladies throughout Australia, the highly acclaimed Minefields and Miniskirts for the Malthouse Theatre , Menopause: The Musical and played the role of Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show. She has also appeared in Carousel, Damn Yankees and Follies (for which she received rave reviews) for The Production Company.
Anne re-created her award-winning role of Donna in the national tour which celebrated the 10th anniversary of Mamma Mia!
Anne’s 2011 performances include Anyone Can Whistle, Prodigal and Anything Goes.
